British people are annoyed by 'complicated' passwords and internet security measures, poll claims

Getty Images British people are fed up with ‘overly complicated’ internet and phone security measures, a study has found. More than three quarters of 2,000 UK adults polled by researchers do not see the point of what they believe are 'unnecessary' procedures. Six out of ten are annoyed by the need for elaborate passwords featuring a mix of numbers, symbols and capital letters. Around half are sick of having to answer ‘endless’ security questions whenever they call customer service departments. Forty-three per cent are fed-up with the faff of two-step verification and seven in 10 are frustrated by Captcha codes – as they tend to feature illegible words. Commissioned by global analytics company FICO, the research also found almost two thirds think there are simply too many security measures nowadays. Home Security project is a password oriented security device. This uses 4Duino display as the user interface where the password can be entered. 4Duino is also used as the host device in this project. It handles a buzzer, an ultrasonic sensor, a uCAM-II and a magnetic switch. As a home security device, it sends an alarm to the owner when there is an attempted entrance or any malicious kind of entrance. Initially, Home Security Interface is in idle state. When a person approaches the device, it will be activated. This is achieved using an Ultrasonic Sensor. HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is able to measure distances from 2cm to 400cm. A bigger Amazon Prime Day 2018 arrives July 16 with more deals, devices and longer hours

Amazon’s Prime Day, the company’s annual sales event that’s now its biggest , will be held this year on July 16, starting at 12 PM PT/3 PM ET, the retailer announced today. One big change this time around is the event’s length — last year, Prime Day ran 30 hours, but this year’s event will run for 36 hours. In addition to being the longest Prime Day to date, the event will also expand to new markets this year, says Amazon. Australia, Singapore, Netherlands and Luxembourg will join the other countries hosting Prime Day this year, which includes the U.S., U.K., Spain, Mexico, Japan, India, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium and Austria. Jharkhand bandh: Government to deploy 5000 Police force to tame protesters

RANCHI: Apprehending large-scale violence during Jharkhand Bandh called by the Opposition parties on Thursday against changes in the land bill, State Police will deploy more than 5,000 security forces besides keeping a close vigil on the protesters through CCTV cameras installed on all sensitive locations. "People should carry out their day to day activities as usual and there is no need to panic during the bandh called on Thursday as adequate security arrangements have been done," said the Home Secretary SKG Rahate.
