Home Minister reviews security, developmental, governance issues

Srinagar, July 5 (GNS): Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister held extended discussions with Governor N.N. Vohra to review security management, Yatra management, implementation of development programmes and governance issues in a meeting held at Raj Bhavan here today. The meeting was attended by Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor; Rajiv Gauba, Union Home Secretary; the three Advisors to Governor, B.B. Vyas, K. Vijay Kumar and Khurshid Ganai; B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, Chief Secretary; Dr. S.P. Vaid, Director General of Police; Umang Narula, Principal Secretary to Governor and CEO, Shrine Board; and R.K. Goyal, Principal Secretary Home. The Home Minister was informed by Advisor K. Vijay Kumar about the overall law and order situation and framework put in place by the Security Forces for the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra. Chief Secretary presented an update of the implementation status of major projects under the Prime Minister’s Development Programme, particularly AIIMS, IITs & IIMs, Ring Roads at Jammu & Srinagar and other major development projects being executed by Central and State agencies. Governor assured Home Minister that the State Administration is taking every step required to ensure against any delay in the implementation of development and welfare programmes, eradication of corruption; and redressal of public grievances. Security company in Bellevue vandalized

BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) - An Omaha home security company based out of Bellevue is using its own camera to help track down a thief who stole items from outside their building. Chris Malmberg, the owner of Omaha Security Systems Inc. says an unidentified man stole nearly $300 worth of landscaping Sunday night. "The motion sensors went off and I got a notification on my phone that he was there. We saw him take the plants, we watched him drive away and then immediately contacted police," said Malmberg. "He was real nervous, but he ended up stealing shrubbery, Hosta plants, I mean - never in my life have I ever known somebody to steal landscaping."
