CACI Awarded $407 Million Task Order to Bolster Cyber Defense at Department of Homeland Security Agencies

ARLINGTON, Va.--( BUSINESS WIRE )--CACI International Inc ( NYSE:CACI ) announced today that it has been awarded a task order with a ceiling value of $407 million to architect, engineer, and integrate advanced cyber security tools and processes for agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The six-year Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense - Group A (DEFEND A) task order was awarded under the General Services Administration’s Alliant contract vehicle and represents new work for CACI in its Cyber Security market. “CACI brings the Department of Homeland Security extensive expertise in developing and implementing enterprise IT and full-spectrum cyber operations. Under the contract, CACI will strengthen the IT security posture of DHS component agencies by designing, building, deploying, and operating integrated CDM solutions that include dashboards and tools for continuous monitoring, diagnosis, and mitigation, along with associated services. The work will also include asset management of software and hardware, cloud-based and mobile devices, and configuration-setting and vulnerability management. Security company in Bellevue vandalized

BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) - An Omaha home security company based out of Bellevue is using its own camera to help track down a thief who stole items from outside their building. Chris Malmberg, the owner of Omaha Security Systems Inc. says an unidentified man stole nearly $300 worth of landscaping Sunday night. "The motion sensors went off and I got a notification on my phone that he was there. We saw him take the plants, we watched him drive away and then immediately contacted police," said Malmberg. "He was real nervous, but he ended up stealing shrubbery, Hosta plants, I mean - never in my life have I ever known somebody to steal landscaping."
