Homeowner: Thieves caught using meth on stolen home security camera

Charles Newman and Chad Earl SCOTTSBURG, Ind. (WTHR) - Two men are in trouble with the law after accidentally recording themselves with a camera they allegedly stole in Scott County. The owner of the camera said he got an alert on his phone when the stolen camera was turned on. So he started recording the men who swiped it and got a good look at them. "They set the camera...they put it over a tablet and you could see the reflection of the person making the meth pipe or whatever," said the camera's owner, Rob Hickman. Hickman put the pictures on social media with a plea to others to help track down the thieves and they did. Police arrested Chad Earl and Charles Newman just hours later. The men are now facing several charges.
